CPE is the highest level Cambridge ESOL exam, at level C2 of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The CPE exam is suitable for learners who have reached a high level of English and are approaching a standard of English similar to a native speaker. Candidates should be able to function effectively in almost any situation.
CPE is suitable for candidates who have completed C1 level and to improve further. Students who hold the CPE certificate are considered to be equal to native English speakers who can communicate in English effortlessly. Such candidates find it considerably easy to find employment worldwide, namely at higher positions.
